چکیده

One of the most successful ways to get word out about a product’s popularity across all types customers is through advertising. It has valuable direct influence on increasing product demand. The supply chain model developed for manufacturer and retailer, where advertisements are dependent advertisement rate been considered function that enhanced at diminishing concerning time, although growth slowed. During manufacturing cycle, market’s demand advertisement, customer’s linear time. production exceeds during remanufacturing; shortages not faced. involves manufacturing/remanufacturing process quickly delivers consumer products less waste. To keep environment clean, cost carbon emissions incorporated into manufacturer’s supplier’s holding degrading costs. model’s primary purpose minimize overall remanufacturing. cycle higher than remanufacturing cycle. This study confirms advertising provides continuous value total cost. A numerical example provided, graphical representation sensitivity analysis determine function’s behavior test model.

Global Supply Chain Management under Carbon Emission Trading Program Using Mixed Integer Programming and Genetic Algorithm

In this paper, the transportation problem under the carbon emission trading program ismodelled by mathematical programming and genetic algorithm. Since green supply chain issuesbecome important and new legislations are taken into account, carbon emissions costs are included inthe total costs of the supply chain. The optimisation model has the ability to minimise the total costsand provides the ...

Supply Chain Coordination through Lead Time Crashing in a Socially Responsible Supply Chain Considering Transportation Modes and Carbon Emissions Tax

In this paper, a socially responsible supply chain consisting of one supplier and one retailer is proposed. The supplier decides on replenishment cycle multiplier and the retailer invests in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and decides on the order-up-to-level under a periodic review replenishment policy. The retailer’s decisions impact on the supplier’s probability as well as the supply c...

Supply Chain Carbon Management Models

We are constantly confronted with environmental changes across the world ranging from extreme weather to a scarcity of water for nearly 2 billion people, nearly 40% of the world's population. Such phenomena and reality has created a movement across the globe to identify the causes of global warming and develop solutions to end it before it is too late. In a effort to address the growing evidenc...

Carbon pricing versus emissions trading: A supply chain planning perspective

Carbon pricing (taxes) and carbon emissions trading are two globally practiced carbon regulatory policy schemes. This paper presents an analytical supply chain planning model that can be used to examine the supply chain performance at the tactical/operational planning level under these two policy schemes. Model implementation and analyses are completed using actual data from a company operating...

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions through operations and supply chain management

The experiences of the largest corporation in the world and those of a start-up company show how companies can profitably reduce greenhouse gas emissions in their supply chains. The operations management literature suggests additional opportunities to profitably reduce emissions in existing supply chains, and provides guidance for expanding the capacity of new “zero emission” supply chains. The...
